CPR and First Aid

Looking to become certified in

CPR/First Aid/AED Training

CPR and First aid training are so important because keeping blood flow active—even partially—extends the opportunity for successful resuscitation once trained medical staff arrive on site.

This class combines three of the most important topics in an emergency: CPR, First Aid, and CPR.

CPR – or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation – is an emergency lifesaving procedure performed when the heart stops beating. Immediate CPR can double or triple the chances of survival after cardiac arrest.

First aid refers to medical attention that is usually administered immediately after the injury occurs and at the location where it happened. It often consists of a one-time, short-term treatment and requires little technology or training to administer.

AED stands for automated external defibrillator. AEDs are used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.

This class teaches the skills necessary to recognize and provide immediate care for breathing problems, cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until medical personnel arrives.

Participants will be certified by ASHI (American Safety and Health Institute) for: Standard First Aid and CPR/AED for adults, children, and infants.

This class is State Approved for a 2-year certification.
